University of Jyväskylä Department of Mathematical Information Technology DAEMON - Detection of Similar Text Documents Prof. Pasi Koikkalainen (project leader) and MSc(eng) Anssi Lensu

In this project we work in co-operation with the data communication department of Sonera. Our goal is to develop a document detection system that could be used to locate similar fault descriptions from previously occured data transmission problems to aid the handling and repairing of new ones.

The methodology used in this project is very similar to the one used in the text analysis part of the LAMDA project.
